The position is for a part-time faculty member at Gavilan College, specifically within the STEM & Learning Resources department. The role involves creating an exceptional educational environment for students from diverse backgrounds, particularly focusing on empowering historically underserved communities, including the Latinx community. The faculty member will be responsible for developing and reviewing curriculum, assessing student learning, and teaching lecture-discussion courses during various times, including day, evening, or Saturday, as well as online/distance education formats. Assignments are based on departmental needs on a semester-by-semester basis. The position is represented by the Gavilan College Faculty Association.
