About the position

The Loader/Cart Associate at Lowe's is responsible for delivering quality customer service while ensuring the store is clean, safe, and well-stocked. This role involves engaging with customers, assisting them with loading merchandise into their vehicles, and replenishing shelves to meet customer needs. Safety is a critical aspect of this position, as it requires frequent lifting and moving of merchandise throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality customer service to all customers.
  • Engage with customers to answer questions and provide assistance.
  • Retrieve, load, and replenish merchandise as needed.
  • Assist customers and staff in moving merchandise safely.
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment.

Requirements

  • 6 months experience using a computer for data entry and information management.
  • 6 months experience with common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
  • Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.

Nice-to-haves

  • 6 months retail experience.
  • 6 months experience as a Loader at a home improvement or hardware retailer.
  • 6 months experience working in any department at a Lowe's retail store.
  • 6 months retail merchandising experience, including stocking and maintaining product displays.
  • 6 months experience in inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading products or materials.
