About the position

Citizens Memorial Hospital Foundation (CMH) is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team at Colonial Springs Healthcare Center in Buffalo, MO. Our facility is committed to providing exceptional care to our residents, and we take pride in the collaborative environment we foster among our nursing staff. The nursing team is supported by management, other LPNs, RNs, and the dedicated CNAs and RMTs, ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care. Colonial Springs Healthcare Center is a 134-bed facility that includes two memory care units, and we are always busy providing care and support to our community. We are looking for an LPN who is passionate about nursing and eager to contribute to our team. The position is part-time, specifically for night shifts, and we offer flexibility in scheduling. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing to determine a schedule that best fits both your needs and those of the team. At CMH, we believe in the importance of supporting our staff, which is why we offer a Nurse Loan Reimbursement Program to help alleviate the financial burden of nursing education. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents in accordance with established care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor and document residents' health status and report any changes to the nursing team.
• Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding residents.
• Collaborate with other nursing staff and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning discussions.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid LPN or LVN license.
• Associate degree in nursing or equivalent education.
• Previous patient care experience in a healthcare setting is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in long-term care or memory care facilities is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
