About the position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at StoryPoint Waterville is responsible for supervising and managing a team of caregivers in an assisted living and memory care environment. This part-time role emphasizes the importance of professionalism, punctuality, and a passion for working with the elderly. The LPN will evaluate residents, report changes in their condition, and utilize electronic health records to ensure effective communication with the team, residents, and families.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and train a team of caregivers.
- Evaluate residents and report changes in their condition to physicians.
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Medication Administration Record (EMAR).
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and families.
- Build strong relationships with residents and their families.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Ohio.
- Experience in assisted living and memory care preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience required.
- Punctuality and professionalism are important factors.
