About the position
The Part-time Maintenance Technician at R-Dent Dental Laboratory is responsible for performing basic maintenance tasks and ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and machinery used in dental product manufacturing. This role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and supporting the production process.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic maintenance functions to maintain dental lab machinery and equipment, including changing light bulbs and repairing machinery and handpieces.
- Conduct lubrication and maintenance for air compressors and dryers, as well as simple plumbing and electrical tasks.
- Clean equipment such as suctions, filters, and air conditioning filters.
- Utilize maintenance software to retrieve maintenance repair requests and log the completion of projects.
Requirements
- Training or experience in machinery/equipment repair and/or general maintenance, such as shop classes.
- Ability to work on and repair basic equipment and motors.
- Self-motivated individual who can follow written and oral instructions without supervision.
- Ability to complete required tasks in a timely manner with a positive attitude.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in maintenance and repair of CNC milling machines.
