About the position

As a 3rd Keyholder at Claire's, you will play a vital role in supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales. In the absence of other management, you will have the responsibility of opening and closing the store, ensuring that it operates safely and legally. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional sales through friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring that every customer has a fun and enjoyable shopping experience. You will demonstrate Claire's products and assist customers with their queries using your product knowledge, which is essential for creating a positive shopping environment. In addition to customer service, you will assist with various operational tasks, including processing store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions. You will also receive full training in ear piercing, which is a key service offered at Claire's. Maintaining the store's appearance is crucial, and you will ensure that it looks presentable and inviting to customers at all times. Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate Claire's products to customers.
  • Assist customers with their queries using product knowledge.
  • Process store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions.
  • Receive training and perform ear piercing services.
  • Maintain the store's appearance to ensure it is presentable and inviting.

Requirements

  • Some high school education required.
  • Minimum 1 year of retail experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Understanding of the importance of customer service.
  • Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills.
  • Ability to stand during scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders and step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
  • Ability to operate the POS system.
