About the position

As a Complex Marketing Coordinator at Hilton Tampa Downtown, you will play a vital role in supporting the Complex Senior Marketing Coordinator in the hotel's ongoing efforts to deliver exceptional service and achieve financial profitability. This position requires a proactive and creative individual who is passionate about digital marketing and has a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for assisting in the planning, development, and execution of the annual and monthly digital marketing plans, which include social media strategies, paid advertising campaigns, and performance tracking and analysis. Your role will also involve curating and managing digital content, ensuring that all materials reflect Hilton's high standards of professionalism and branding. In the realm of social media, you will assist in developing, executing, managing, and analyzing campaigns aimed at enhancing audience outreach and achieving marketing goals. This includes leading content creation through photography, videography, copywriting, and regular posting on relevant social media platforms. You will also engage in influencer outreach and coordinate visits with hotel departments to maximize marketing impact. Your responsibilities will extend to graphic design, where you will assist in designing and developing marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, and newsletters. Additionally, you will support other departments by creating signage and presentations as needed. The role may also require you to perform general office duties and assist with special projects, demonstrating flexibility in your work schedule, including potential weekend and holiday commitments. Overall, this position is integral to the hotel's marketing efforts and requires a blend of creativity, organization, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, developing, and executing the annual/monthly digital marketing plan including social media and paid advertising.
  • Curate and manage digital content including written, photo, and video materials.
  • Regularly audit and update content on the hotel website, OTAs, and metasearch sites.
  • Maintain the image library and ensure all online content adheres to Hilton guidelines.
  • Assist in developing and analyzing social media and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Lead content creation for social media through photography, videography, and copywriting.
  • Coordinate influencer outreach and visits with hotel departments.
  • Assist in designing and developing marketing collateral for the resort.
  • Support the development of collateral for marketing campaigns and other departments.
  • Perform general office duties and assist with special projects as needed.
  • Lead support for hotel activations and programming, requiring a flexible work schedule.

Requirements

  • Minimum one to two years of experience in digital marketing.
  • Passionate about the digital world, self-starter, and fast learner.
  • Creative thinker who enjoys interacting with people.
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and written/verbal communication in English.
  • Website knowledge is required.
  • Experience with graphic design programs and photo-editing software including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and Canva.
  • Skilled in photography, filming, and video editing.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Natural eye for multimedia design layout, style, color selection, and brand guidelines.
