About the position
The Part-Time Math Aide at Uintah High School is responsible for supporting the education of assigned students in a flexible learning environment. This role involves assisting with data collection, supervising students during recess and bus duty, and collaborating with staff to create a positive and safe educational atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the education of assigned students
- Create a flexible program and class environment favorable for learning and personal growth
- Relate positively with students, staff, parents, and community
- Assist with data collection
- Assist with recess and/or bus duty as needed
- Work cooperatively with all staff to ensure a comfortable and pleasant working environment
- Other duties as assigned by school administrator
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must hold an Associate's degree or have 48 semester hours of college credit
- Must have passed or be willing to pass the ParaPro test immediately upon hire
Nice-to-haves
- Utah Elementary Teacher Certificate preferred but not mandatory
