About the position

The Part Time Member Sales & Service Specialist at Tempe Empowered Pilates is a dynamic role focused on engaging with potential and existing members to promote Pilates classes and memberships. This position requires a confident and enthusiastic individual who excels in customer service and sales, fostering connections with clients and contributing to a positive studio environment. The specialist will assist the Studio Manager in executing sales strategies, providing exceptional service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all members.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer emails, text messages, and phone calls promptly.
• Execute sales protocols for prospect follow-up, membership sales, or intro class booking.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all clients of the studio, whether in person, over the phone, via text messaging, or email.
• Conduct tours of the facility while actively engaging with individuals.
• Meet or exceed sales call goals per shift.
• Achieve personal and studio-level sales goals.
• Help maintain a clean and orderly studio.
• Participate in special events as needed to promote the studio.
• Smile a ridiculous amount.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, via email, and text message.
• Comfortable with public speaking in groups of up to 12 people.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve membership, retail, and service objectives.
• Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system.
• Punctual, reliable, and professional.
• Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team.
• Ability to adapt and evolve in an ever-changing fast-paced diverse environment.
• Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday.
• Hearing sufficient to understand conversations, both in person and on the telephone.
• Reliable means of transportation to studio and occasional offsite events.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in sales or customer service in a fitness environment.
• Knowledge of Pilates or fitness background.
