About the position

The Member Success Associate at Studio 22 Fitness plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operational procedures within the Front Desk department and Fitness Areas. This part-time position focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, supporting membership sales, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests.

Responsibilities

• New Membership Sales.
• Greet all members and guests with a smile and wish them well as they exit the club.
• Check in all members and guests in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure workout equipment is organized and put away in designated areas.
• Perform daily cleaning and light to medium janitorial duties.
• Facilitate any messages on club software at member check-in.
• Answer phones in a courteous, helpful, professional manner.
• Communicate special events to members and guests.
• Maintain an atmosphere that makes members feel welcome.
• Facilitate all member requests or forward them to a manager.
• Maintain a professional disposition at all times.
• Sell retail products.
• Schedule member services.
• Facilitate payment of member services in accordance with company procedures.
• Know club facilities, services, and schedules.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist in all projects as delegated by club management.
• Follow all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
• Perform opening and closing duties.
• Attend any employee training meetings.

Requirements

• Experience in customer service and retail/sales is preferred but not required.
• One year experience in a fitness center environment recommended.
• Customer-focused, compassionate, respectful, friendly, polite, personable, and has a sense of humor.
• Dependable, accountable, responsible, and has the ability to multitask.
• Basic computer knowledge - PC computer.
• Comfortable interacting with members and new customers.
• Flexible schedule.

Nice-to-haves

• Basic gym equipment and fitness knowledge is a plus.
