About the position
The part-time Assistant Coach for Men's Basketball at Penn State Harrisburg will support the Head Coach in various aspects of the basketball program, including recruiting, program development, practice preparation, and game day coaching. This role is essential for the development of student-athletes and the overall success of the basketball program within the NCAA Division III framework.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Coach in recruiting student-athletes.
- Support program development initiatives.
- Prepare for practices and game days.
- Coach during games and assist in strategy implementation.
Requirements
- Successful completion of the Pennsylvania Publicly Available Clearances: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal History Background Check.
- Valid US driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check.
