About the position
As a Part Time Merchandiser at American Greetings, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience by maintaining and merchandising greeting card displays in retail locations. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about helping others celebrate special moments and who thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. You will work flexible hours, primarily during the day, and will be responsible for building relationships with store associates while ensuring that product displays are well-maintained and visually appealing.
Responsibilities
- Merchandise and maintain all product displays within the greeting card department and other areas of the store as needed.
- Work in a fast-paced retail environment utilizing effective time management skills.
- Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime retail business hours.
- Use a company-provided tablet to perform basic job functions, such as reviewing weekly service and tasks, inventory functions, and time entry.
- Communicate effectively in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and understanding.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Access to reliable transportation as most routes have multiple retail locations.
- Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates.
- Meet scheduling needs, including occasional weekends and the day before and after major holidays.
Benefits
