American Greetings is a global leader in the Celebrations marketplace, and as a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in our mission to help people celebrate holidays, each other, and all of life's special moments. This position is essential in making the world a more thoughtful and caring place every single day. We are seeking dedicated merchandisers to service the American Greetings Department in various retail locations, ensuring that our products are well-displayed and accessible to customers. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising and maintaining all product displays within the greeting card department, as well as other areas of the store as needed. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, utilizing effective time management skills to complete your tasks efficiently. Building partnerships and relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime retail business hours is a key aspect of this position. You will also use a company-provided tablet to perform basic job functions, including reviewing weekly service tasks, managing inventory, and entering time. The starting pay for this position is $13.50 per hour, with two scheduled increases during the first year of employment. After six months, the pay rate will increase to $14.30, and after one year of continued employment, it will rise to $15.00. We offer flexible work scheduling and provide paid training to ensure you are well-prepared for your responsibilities. This route will service several retail locations, including Meijer and Kroger, with an average of 12 hours per week, which may increase to 18 hours per week around holidays.
