About the position
As a Merchandiser with American Greetings, you will play a crucial role in our mission to help people celebrate life's special moments. This position involves servicing the American Greetings Department in various retail locations, primarily focusing on maintaining product displays within the greeting card department. You will be expected to work in a fast-paced retail environment, utilizing effective time management skills to ensure that all displays are merchandised and maintained to the highest standards. The starting pay is $13.10 per hour, with scheduled increases after six months and one year of continued employment, reaching up to $14.50. The average weekly hours are around 8, with the potential to increase to 16 hours per week during holiday seasons, reflecting the dynamic nature of retail work. Candidates should be available during daytime hours, particularly on Monday mornings, to meet store needs. The role requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and access to reliable transportation and internet for job-related tasks. Responsibilities
- Merchandise and maintain all product displays within the greeting card department and other areas of the store as needed.

- Use a company-provided tablet to perform basic job functions, such as reviewing weekly service and tasks, inventory functions, and time entry.
