About the position
We are seeking a reliable and caring Babysitter/Nanny to provide nurturing care for a 1-year-old baby at our location in Schaumburg, IL. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule and requires engaging with the child in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
Responsibilities
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities to encourage learning and development
- Provide attentive care to toddler
- Serve nutritious meals and snacks
- Feeding and changing diapers
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children
- Ensure children's safety at all times
- Perform light housekeeping tasks related to childcare
- Conduct 1-2 hour playground activities and stroller walks
Requirements
- Basic Ukrainian/Russian language skills
- Prior non-professional experience with infants
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred
- Ability to educate and engage children in fun and educational activities
- Familiarity with toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and soothing techniques
- Strong caregiving skills and a passion for working with children
- Age group 16 - 60 years old
