About the position

Join a family in Scottsdale as a part-time nanny for two gifted children, a 7-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl. This role involves engaging with high-energy kids, fostering their learning, guiding activities, and encouraging age-appropriate responsibility. The ideal candidate will take initiative, respond to the family's needs, and support the children's development.

Responsibilities

• Follow through with family direction on health and safety protocols
• Play with, care for, and engage the children
• Drive and/or pickup to school and activities
• Prepare snacks and meals, as well as organization, and model/train children in personal responsibility as they grow and learn

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• 5 years experience working with children in any capacity (childcare, camp counselor, youth group or nursery leader, lifeguard)
• Minimum of 2 NON-FAMILY references related to working with children (paid or unpaid)
• Access to reliable transportation, clean driving record and auto insurance
• Ability to complete an extensive background check
• Ability to lift children and engage in active play
• Strong communication skills, creativity in engaging children, and organizational skills.
