Responsibilities

• Editing video for weekend news content on air and online
• Taking in news feeds from news bureaus and various news organizations
• Collaborating with anchors, reporters, and producers on video elements of newscasts
• Meeting deadlines in a high-energy working environment
• Some writing and social media content creation opportunities

Requirements

• High School degree and some college or technical school training in writing, visual content creation, social media content creation
• Knowledge of Avid New editing software is a plus, but detailed training and support are provided
• Ability to work with a multitude of people and personalities while maintaining a professional work environment
