About the position
Integrated Wound Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner for a part-time opportunity focused on wound care. The role involves providing quality wound care services to skilled nursing, long-term care, and rehabilitation facilities, aiming to improve patient outcomes and reduce wound-related hospitalizations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct wound assessments and provide personalized treatment plans for patients
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Educate patients and their families on wound care, prevention, and management
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in state of employment
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in wound care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Comfortable with technology and electronic medical records
