About the position
Take 5 Oil Change is seeking a Part-Time Oil Change Team Member to join our team at Shop#182 located at 254 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX. As a part of our team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing essential oil change and light maintenance tasks. We pride ourselves on our efficient process that allows customers to stay in their vehicles while we service their cars. With over 35 years of experience, we have built a reputation for friendly service and expertise in oil changes. In this role, you will receive comprehensive training to become a skilled lube technician. No prior experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the automotive industry. Your responsibilities will include draining motor oil, changing oil filters, washing windshields, adjusting tire pressure, inspecting and topping off fluids, performing coolant exchanges, and maintaining cleanliness in the work environment. You will also be responsible for restocking and maintaining inventory levels on the shop floor. Responsibilities
- Drain motor oil and change oil filter
- Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure
- Inspect and top off fluids
- Perform coolant exchanges
- Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
- Maintain cleanliness of work environment
- Provide excellent customer service
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3' deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
