About the position

As a Remote Part-Time Onboarding Specialist at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, you will be instrumental in facilitating a smooth onboarding process for new hires. This role involves coordinating various onboarding tasks, ensuring that new employees are well-prepared and supported as they begin their journey with the company. The position is fully remote and requires strong organizational and communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced virtual environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, including sending offer letters, contracts, and new hire paperwork.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, answering questions and providing support throughout the onboarding process.
  • Schedule and conduct virtual orientation sessions and training programs.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and department managers to ensure all onboarding steps are completed efficiently.
  • Ensure new employees have access to necessary tools, systems, and resources.
  • Track and document onboarding progress, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
  • Continuously improve the onboarding experience based on feedback from new hires and managers.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in HR, onboarding, or a related role preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple onboarding tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, etc.).
  • Comfortable working in a remote, virtual environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
