About the position
Part-time UPS Package Delivery Drivers are essential members of our team, responsible for delivering packages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner. These drivers operate our iconic brown trucks, navigating through various neighborhoods and business districts to ensure timely delivery of packages of all shapes and sizes. The role is physically demanding, requiring drivers to be active and engaged throughout their shifts, which typically last between 3.5 to 5 hours per day. Depending on operational needs, shifts may occur in the early morning or afternoon, with schedules varying from Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday. To succeed in this role, candidates must possess a valid driver's license (specific type may vary by state) and be able to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs. Additionally, drivers must pass a DOT physical and demonstrate excellent customer service and driving skills. Compliance with UPS appearance guidelines is mandatory, and drivers are required to wear the company-provided uniform.
