About the position

Citrin is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join their parking enforcement and asset management team in Columbus, Ohio. The role involves patrolling assigned areas to ensure compliance with parking ordinances, maintaining safety, and managing vehicle-related issues. This part-time position offers flexible hours and opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Patrol an assigned area by vehicle or on foot to ensure public compliance with existing parking ordinances.
• Patrol properties to maintain safety.
• Issue warnings and citations for illegally parked vehicles.
• Locate suspicious objects or vehicles.
• Communicate situation details to appropriate personnel.
• Observe and report hazardous conditions that need to be resolved.
• Make arrangements for illegally parked or abandoned vehicles to be towed, and direct tow-truck drivers to the correct vehicles.
• Enter and retrieve information pertaining to vehicle registration, identification, and status, using hand-held computers.
• Use databases to locate investigation details or other information.
• Maintain assigned equipment and supplies such as tools and hand-held citation computers.
• Direct vehicle traffic in garage properties to reduce congestion.
• Assist motorists or pedestrians at assigned areas.
• Sweep up assigned areas and take out the trash at assigned areas.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Valid driver's license for at least one year (not including a temporary license).
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to sit and/or stand through an entire shift.
• Professional appearance.
• Ability to perform tasks involving bending, kneeling, walking, and jogging.
• Strong communication skills.
