About the position

Robert Half is seeking a Part-Time Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processing for over 400 employees in a fast-paced service industry. This remote position requires expertise in ADP Workforce Now and multi-state payroll, particularly in California. The role is crucial for maintaining tax compliance and providing excellent employee assistance, with a focus on confidentiality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely payroll processing for 400+ US employees.
• Maintaining tax compliance for payroll.
• Providing excellent assistance to employees regarding payroll inquiries.
• Utilizing ADP Workforce Now for payroll management.
• Managing benefits, leaves of absence (LOAs), and timecards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant payroll experience in a multi-state setting.
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now.
• Strong skills in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with HRIS platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field (preferred).
