About the position

The Part-Time People Administrator at Immersive Technologies plays a crucial role in supporting the People Team by managing various HR-related activities. This position is designed for an experienced and proactive individual who will assist in ensuring the smooth operation of the department while also covering reception and office coordination duties as needed. The role is part-time, requiring 15 hours per week, and offers flexibility in scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and managing the generation of Employment Contracts/Letters
  • Maintaining employee records and HRIS system information using BambooHR
  • Assisting with Recruitment, Onboarding, Offboarding, Medicals, WHS, Training, Reporting, Mine Site Mobilisation and Compliance
  • Building trust and rapport, maintaining confidentiality with internal and external stakeholders
  • Improving People Team processes and procedures

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Strong MS skills including Excel
  • Knowledge of HR/People functions, policies and best practices
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Being confident, organised and self-motivated
  • Ability to manage highly confidential information
  • Able to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
