About the position
The Norman Bird Sanctuary is seeking a part-time, per diem receptionist and cashier to support its operations at the Welcome Center. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing phone inquiries, and processing sales in the gift shop. Responsibilities
- Answer phones and direct visitors to appropriate resources.
- Process gift shop sales and manage deliveries.
- Assist in filling scheduling gaps as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to all visitors.
- Maintain a welcoming and informative environment for guests.
Requirements
- High school diploma or relevant work experience.
- Weekend availability is required.
- Ability to provide a minimum of two professional references.
