As a Part Time Pharmacy Technician at the Genoa mental health pharmacy, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy's operations. Your primary responsibilities will include dispensing medical prescriptions and performing clerical duties under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. In this role, you will be expected to provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff. You will fill prescription orders and ensure they are available for verification by the pharmacist. Additionally, you will be responsible for ordering, receiving, and storing incoming pharmacy supplies, processing wholesaler medication orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Working closely with the pharmacist, you will assist in ensuring compliance with all federal and state requirements, perform various clerical duties, and communicate effectively with both verbal and written skills. The position requires you to deliver medications as needed and perform other duties as assigned. This is a part-time position requiring the ability to work 32 hours between Monday and Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm EST, with no nights or weekends required. The work location is at 3556 Sullivant Ave Room 201, Columbus, OH 43204, within the North Community Counseling Center. Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
  • Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
  • Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies
  • Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
  • Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
  • Work with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
  • Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
  • Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Deliver medications
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Active or unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Ohio OR ability to register with the Pharmacy Board within the first 30 days of employment
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to use own car to make deliveries when needed
  • Valid US driver's license
