About the position
The Part Time Photographer/Sales Associate at Summit Portraits, LLC is responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences in a photography studio environment. This role involves photographing a diverse range of clients, including families and children, while also driving sales and maintaining studio standards. The position is seasonal and requires flexibility in scheduling to meet business demands.
Responsibilities
- Giving each customer an amazing experience from the moment they book their session until their portrait products are delivered.
- Photographing customers including infants, kids, families, couples, and more.
- Editing, printing and framing digital images.
- Driving sales to meet studio goals.
- Ensuring data integrity of customer information and orders.
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures.
- Scheduling and confirming customer sessions.
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for customers and employees.
- Ensuring that the studio is always exemplifying brand standards in the way it is presented to the customer.
- Performing additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- Availability and willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the business.
- Photography experience preferred but a willingness to learn required.
- Experience in the service industry preferred (i.e. retail, tourism, hospitality, restaurant).
- Great communication and organizational skills.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team to meet goals.
- High energy and enthusiastic personality.
- Works well with children and adults.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
Nice-to-haves
- Professional photography experience would be great, but it's not required.
- Experience in retail sales.
