About the position
The Part Time Preload Supervisor position at UPS is a critical role that involves training and supervising Package Handlers and Clerks to ensure safety, productivity, and adherence to job-related tasks. The ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and work flexible shift hours, up to five days per week, is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Train and supervise Package Handlers and Clerks on safety, productivity, and job-related tasks.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
- Facilitate training sessions for new and current employees.
- Conduct and participate in group meetings to discuss performance and address concerns.
- Coordinate evaluations with management to assess employee performance.
- Determine best solutions for package concerns that arise during operations.

- Demonstrate UPS's high ethical standards and code of conduct consistently.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred.
- Management experience - Preferred.
