About the position

The Part Time Preschool Assistant Teacher position at La Escuelita is designed for the 2024-2025 school year, commencing on August 26, 2024, and concluding on June 20, 2025. This role is situated within a dual language preschool classroom, where the Assistant Teacher will play a crucial role in fostering a bilingual learning environment for young children. The Assistant Teacher will work under the guidance of Head Teachers and will be part of a collaborative team that includes other Assistant Teachers and Directors. The primary responsibility of the Assistant Teacher is to plan and implement high-quality educational experiences that promote language enrichment and developmental growth in children. This position requires a commitment to extensive staff development to ensure the delivery of effective educational practices. The ideal candidate for this role will be bilingual in both English and Spanish, possessing a strong background in working with young children. Candidates should be enrolled in an Early Childhood Education program or a related field, demonstrating a passion for early childhood education. The Assistant Teacher will be expected to engage actively with children, support their learning, and contribute to a positive classroom environment. The working hours for this position are from 8 AM to 1 PM, providing a structured schedule that allows for focused interaction with students during their formative years.

Responsibilities
