About the position

The Principal Administrative Aide (PAA) for Trauma Services is a part-time role within the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services, focusing on providing essential office support to a multidisciplinary team. This position involves direct public service, client assistance, and maintaining programmatic statistics, contributing to the overall mission of supporting vulnerable populations in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general office functions for Trauma Services.
  • Provide direct public service and client assistance.
  • Respond to inquiries and refer clients to other offices for assistance.
  • Maintain programmatic statistics for reporting and fee collections.
  • Maintain client files and manage supply inventory.
  • Schedule meetings and record, compile, and distribute minutes of meetings.
  • Perform data entry as required.

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or a Certificate of completion recognized in the State of Maryland.
  • Two years of progressively responsible office support experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be substituted.
