About the position

The Part-Time Producer/Editor/Videographer is responsible for producing and editing programs for Coral Gables Television, overseeing the entire process from conception to airing. This role involves creating graphics, providing audiovisual coverage for city events, and supporting meetings at City Hall. The position requires creativity and technical skills to promote local businesses and public service announcements effectively.

Responsibilities

• Creates, writes, produces, and edits programs for Coral Gables Television.
• Creates graphics animations.
• Provides audiovisual coverage of different events of the City.
• Provides audiovisual support for the meetings that take place at City Hall.
• Renders a video file of the meetings aired, shared with the city clerk.
• Takes pictures of different events, special locations, businesses, and profile pictures of City staff.
• Creates promotional packages to promote local businesses and public service announcements for the City.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience in a related field.
• Valid Florida Driver's License.
