About the position

The Part-Time Producer/Editor/Videographer is responsible for producing and editing programs for Coral Gables Television, overseeing the entire process from conception to airing. This role involves creating graphics, providing audiovisual coverage for city events, and producing promotional content to support local businesses and public service announcements.

Responsibilities

• Creates, writes, produces, and edits programs for Coral Gables Television.
• Creates graphics animations.
• Provides audiovisual coverage of different events of the City.
• Provides audiovisual support for meetings at City Hall and renders video files for the city clerk.
• Takes pictures of various city events, special locations, businesses, and profile pictures of City staff.
• Creates promotional packages to promote local businesses and public service announcements for the City.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience in video production or related field.
• Valid Florida Driver's License.
• A comparable amount of training or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
