About the position

Dodds Dental is seeking a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join their modern family dental practice in Long Beach, CA. The position is specifically for Thursdays, with the potential for additional days in the future based on hygiene needs. The RDH will be responsible for providing dental hygiene services to patients, ensuring a high level of care and comfort during their visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings and assessments.
• Prepare for patient appointments by arriving early and setting up necessary equipment.
• Manage patient records and charting, preferably using Eaglesoft.
• Educate patients on oral health and hygiene practices.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• Registered Dental Hygienist license is required.
• CPR Certification is required.
• Associate's degree in dental hygiene is required.
• AED Certification is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with digital radiographs and digital charting.
• Knowledge of Eaglesoft software is preferred but not mandatory.
