About the position

As a Receiver/Stocker at Lowe's, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the store is clean, safe, and well-stocked with products. This position involves unloading merchandise from incoming freight, moving it to the sales floor, and stocking departments to meet customer needs. You will also be responsible for handling hazardous materials, maintaining an organized backroom, and preparing the store for sales success. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality customer service while maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
• Respond quickly to customer and associate needs in a friendly and professional manner.
• Accurately receive, stock, and replenish merchandise.
• Safely unload merchandise from incoming freight and move it to the sales floor.
• Organize merchandise and top stock to set up stores for sales success.
• Handle hazardous materials and replace damaged shelving.
• Keep the backroom organized and ensure equipment is charged.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Minimally able to lift 25 pounds without assistance; may lift over 25 pounds with or without assistance.

Nice-to-haves

• 3 months of experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment.
• 6 months of experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking.
