The Part-Time Retail Cleaning Associate at Marshalls is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, focusing primarily on floor care. Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care.
• Operate the scrubber and buffer for floor maintenance.
• Perform dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows.
• Adhere to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
• Cross-train to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.
• Role model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Maintain cleanliness standards for the entire store, including sales floor, associate lounge, backroom, and restrooms.
• Communicate accurately and effectively with management and associates.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor buffer and scrubber.
• Capable of multi-tasking and responding to changes in direction or unexpected situations.

• Ability to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Retail customer experience preferred.
