Responsibilities

• Install roofing materials such as shingles, tiles, and metal sheets according to specifications.
• Perform repairs on existing roofs by identifying leaks and damage.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and fastening roofing materials.
• Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing of roofs.
• Read blueprints to determine the layout of roofing systems.
• Fabricate roofing components as needed for specific projects.
• Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects that involve roof construction or repair.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in roofing or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with tile laying techniques and stucco applications is a plus.
• Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to roofing tasks.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
