About the position

As a Part-Time Sales Associate at Famous Footwear, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience in a welcoming and engaging store environment. You will be expected to stay informed about shoe trends and help create a loyal customer base by delivering top-notch service and support.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks such as pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory are completed efficiently.
• Provide stellar customer engagement and create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Drive sales performance by reviewing store metrics and achieving sales goals.
• Act with integrity by adhering to company policies and seeking feedback for personal development.
• Support a diverse and inclusive work environment, uplifting and assisting teammates as needed.
• Assist customers in finding the perfect shoe styles and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within the store.
• Strong communication skills with store associates at all levels.
• Independent judgment and discretion in partnership with the Store Sales Manager.
• Knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and a flexible schedule.
