About the position
As a Part-Time Sales Associate at Famous Footwear, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional shopping experience for customers by providing excellent service and maintaining a welcoming store environment. Your role will involve engaging with customers, managing store operations, and contributing to a positive team culture while promoting the company's brand and values.
Responsibilities
- Ensure daily store tasks such as pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory are completed efficiently.
- Deliver stellar customer engagement and create memorable shopping experiences.
- Drive sales performance by reviewing store metrics and achieving sales goals.
- Communicate effectively with the store team and listen actively to ensure understanding.
- Uphold company policies and procedures with integrity and seek feedback for personal development.
- Support a diverse and inclusive work environment, uplifting teammates and assisting with training when needed.
- Assist customers in finding the perfect shoe styles and ensure they leave with satisfaction.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Some retail store management experience or relevant management experience in lieu.
- Ability to build constructive relationships within the store.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels.
- Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and a flexible schedule.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in retail sales or customer service.
- Ability to work holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
