About the position
As a Part-Time Sales Associate at Famous Footwear, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional shopping experience for customers by providing excellent service and maintaining a welcoming store environment. Your role will involve engaging with customers, managing retail operations, and contributing to a positive team culture while promoting the brand's values and products.
Responsibilities
- Ensure daily store tasks such as pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory are completed efficiently.
- Deliver stellar customer engagement and create memorable shopping experiences for customers.
- Review store performance and drive sales to achieve goals, ensuring every shoe sale counts.
- Act with integrity by adhering to company policies and seeking feedback for professional development.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive work environment, supporting teammates and promoting diversity.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Some retail store management experience or relevant management experience in lieu
- Ability to build constructive and effective relationships within the store
- Demonstrated ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels
- Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in retail sales or customer service
- Knowledge of shoe brands and trends
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks related to the job.
