About the position
As a Part-Time Sales Associate at Famous Footwear, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional shopping experience for customers by providing excellent service and maintaining a welcoming store environment. Your role will involve engaging with customers, managing store operations, and contributing to a positive team culture while promoting the brand's values and products.
Responsibilities
- Ensure daily store tasks such as pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory are completed efficiently.
- Deliver stellar customer engagement and create memorable shopping experiences.
- Drive sales performance and achieve store goals through accountability and effective communication.
- Act with integrity by adhering to company policies and seeking feedback for personal development.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment, supporting teammates in their development and training.
- Assist customers in finding the perfect shoe styles and ensuring they leave with satisfaction.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Some retail store management experience or relevant management experience in lieu.
- Ability to build constructive and effective relationships within the store.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels.
- Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and a flexible schedule.
Nice-to-haves
