About the position

As a Sales Associate at Famous Footwear, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional shopping experience for customers by fostering a welcoming environment and promoting customer loyalty. Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks such as pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory are completed efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment to enhance the shopping experience.
• Provide excellent customer engagement and service, ensuring customers have a memorable experience.
• Drive sales performance by reviewing store metrics and taking accountability for achieving sales goals.
• Communicate effectively with the store team and practice active listening to ensure understanding.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while seeking feedback for personal and professional growth.
• Support a diverse and inclusive work environment, uplifting and assisting teammates as needed.
• Assist customers in finding the perfect shoe styles and ensure they leave with satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Some retail store management experience or relevant management experience in lieu.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within the store.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels.
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in partnership with the Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Flexible schedule availability, including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
