About the position

As a Part-Time Sales Associate at Famous Footwear, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional shoe shopping experience for customers. Your role involves creating a welcoming environment, engaging with customers, and ensuring the store is organized and well-stocked. You will also be a key player in driving sales and maintaining the store's culture of inclusivity and positivity.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks such as pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory are completed efficiently.
• Provide stellar customer engagement and create memorable shopping experiences.
• Review store performance and drive sales to achieve goals.
• Communicate effectively with the store team and listen actively to ensure understanding.
• Uphold company policies and procedures with integrity and seek feedback for improvement.
• Support a positive and inclusive work environment and assist with training and development of teammates.
• Make shoe recommendations to customers and ensure they leave with the perfect fit.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in retail sales or customer service.
• Ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels.
• Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently as needed.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
