About the position
As a Part-Time Sales Associate at Famous Footwear, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional shopping experience for customers by providing excellent service and maintaining a welcoming store environment. Your role will involve engaging with customers, managing store operations, and contributing to a positive team culture while promoting the brand's values and products.
Responsibilities
- Ensure daily store tasks such as pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory are completed efficiently.
- Deliver stellar customer engagement and create memorable shopping experiences.
- Drive sales performance by reviewing store metrics and achieving sales goals.
- Communicate effectively with the store team and listen actively to ensure understanding.
- Maintain high standards of integrity by adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Support a diverse and inclusive work environment, uplifting and assisting teammates as needed.
- Assist customers in finding the perfect shoe styles and ensuring they leave satisfied.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Some retail store management experience or relevant management experience in lieu
- Ability to build constructive and effective relationships within the store
- Demonstrated ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels
- Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in retail sales or customer service
- Knowledge of shoe brands and trends
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
