About the position

The Retail Store Clerk at San Antonio Shoemakers (SAS) is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and assisting customers with their footwear needs. This role involves operating point of sale systems, maintaining store cleanliness, and embodying the company's philosophy of quality and care in every interaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day store openings following SAS philosophy and standards.
• Provide a friendly and welcoming environment for customers.
• Assist customers with seating, shoe fitting, and measuring their feet.
• Show different categories of shoes, handbags, and shoe care products.
• Operate point of sale (POS) systems for sales and returns.
• Gain product knowledge on SAS items and demonstrate enthusiasm for the brand.
• Be punctual and ready to work at scheduled times.
• Complete special projects effectively and on time.

Requirements

• Some computer ability with POS systems and MS Office.
• Great communication skills and exceptional customer service.
