About the position

The Part Time Sales Associate at Knitwell Group is responsible for driving revenue through exceptional client service and relationship building. This role involves meeting individual and store goals while maintaining a clean and safe store environment. The associate will engage with clients, provide product information, and ensure compliance with company practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed divisional, store, and individual financial and credit goals.
• Provide excellent client service by anticipating client needs and exceeding expectations.
• Build relationships with clients to create loyalty and address concerns effectively.
• Communicate effectively with store management and team members.
• Complete opening/closing procedures and tasks with a client focus.
• Maintain an organized and accessible work area and adhere to loss prevention practices.
• Participate in inventory preparation and report any potential hazards to management.
• Demonstrate technical expertise in using company systems and perform register transactions efficiently.
• Articulate the company's brand positioning and participate in store meetings.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of sales associate or relevant experience in the services industry with proven results.
• Ability to function as a role model and prioritize client service.
• Knowledge of visual merchandising standards and techniques.
• Effective communication skills with clients and team members.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and provide change without error.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet business needs.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally.
