About the position
Pet Station is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to join our team at the Reno location. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, managing inventory, and ensuring the store is well-presented. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and a commitment to customer care, with opportunities for advancement within the company.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service on the sales floor and at the point of sale/register.
- Manage inventory control including scanning deliveries and conducting physical inventory.
- Gain product knowledge through an 8-week training course and brand ambassador training seminars.
- Maintain store presentation by ensuring cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, break room, restroom, and office.
- Care for in-store animals by feeding, watering, and cleaning cages.
