About the position

The retail salesperson at Lids plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by providing expert knowledge on headwear and sportswear products. This position focuses on generating revenue through outstanding customer service, maintaining store presentation, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue through exceptional customer service.
  • Achieve revenue growth by meeting or exceeding company goals in individual statistics.
  • Engage in store maintenance according to visual guidelines, ensuring proper sales signage and store cleanliness.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the dress code.
  • Protect the company's assets by following retail guidelines.
  • Participate in store inventory management, including processing shipments and returns.
  • Assist in the accurate and timely counting of products.
  • Support and follow all Lids retail policies, procedures, and principles.
  • Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear and professional manner.
  • Ability to read and operate a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb a ladder and work with hands overhead.
  • Standing required for up to 100% of the time.
