About The Position

As a Part-Time Sales Lead at Ann Taylor Factory Outlet in Auburn, Washington, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional client services while supporting the operational functions of the store. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about fashion and customer service, and who thrive in a dynamic retail environment. You will be responsible for operating as the Manager on Duty in the absence of a manager, which includes performing various operational and transactional functions, handling client service issues, and ensuring compliance with all ANN INC. practices and procedures. Your role will also involve issuing approvals for desk transactions and managing the opening and closing of the store. In this position, you will embrace the values of Ann Taylor and set an example through your behaviors. You will be expected to support the business strategy and adjust your approach to effectively reach sales goals. Driving revenue will be a key focus, as you proactively manage the client experience and assume the Manager on Duty responsibilities when the Store Manager or Co-Manager is not present. You will utilize various tools to foster a client-focused team environment, driving volume and anticipating clients' needs while communicating store metrics and individual performance to motivate associates. Additionally, you will coach associates on client interactions and performance to maximize productivity and capture client opportunities. Your responsibilities will include performing opening and closing procedures, managing cash register functions, and making effective merchandising decisions based on reports. You will ensure optimal coverage and productivity in all areas of the store through appropriate scheduling and complete daily tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly and meets all ANN INC. standards and guidelines.
