About the position

The Part-Time Sales Lead at LOFT is responsible for providing exceptional client service while supporting the Store Manager and Co-Manager in overseeing store operations. This role includes acting as the Manager on Duty in the absence of management, handling operational and transactional functions, and ensuring compliance with company practices. The Sales Lead will also coach associates, drive revenue, and maintain a client-focused team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional client services and support the Store Manager and Co-Manager.
  • Operate as the Manager on Duty in the absence of a manager.
  • Perform operational and transactional functions, including opening and closing the store.
  • Handle client service issues and issue approvals for desk transactions.
  • Drive revenue by managing the client experience and performing Manager On Duty responsibilities.
  • Utilize tools to ensure a client-focused team environment and communicate store metrics to motivate associates.
  • Coach associates on client interactions and performance to maximize productivity.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and bank deposits.
  • Utilize reports to make effective merchandising decisions and maintain store standards.
  • Ensure optimal coverage and productivity in all areas of the store through appropriate scheduling.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum six months Sales Associate experience with ANN INC. or equivalent experience with another retailer.
  • Part-time or full-time managerial experience preferred.
  • Ability to organize, delegate, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of visual standards and techniques for merchandising.
