About the position

The Part Time Sales Leader at Knitwell Group is responsible for leading all activities related to exceptional associate and client engagement in a retail environment. This role involves achieving store goals, managing talent, ensuring operational controls, and maintaining merchandise presentation. The Sales Leader operates as the Manager on Duty in the absence of another manager and embodies the company's leadership principles, focusing on people, customer service, teamwork, operational excellence, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities to achieve store goals including financial objectives and client service.
• Operate as the Manager on Duty in the absence of another Manager.
• Support the onboarding experience for associates and assist in their development.
• Encourage continuous growth and celebrate positive performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Represent Lane Bryant by adhering to 'Dress Your Best' guidelines and articulating current trends.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly and empower the team to do the same.
• Drive operational excellence and maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Manage controllable expenses and comply with Asset Protection policies.
• Promote a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• 6 months specialty retail experience preferred.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Technology proficient with strong business acumen.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; other languages desirable.
